River Great Ouse -Newton Blossomville

This stretch of the Great Ouse is mainly deeper and slower moving than Turvey. Although Barbel are present it is more noted for the large Chub, Bream, Perch and the occasional Carp. This year (2012) we are glad to see that the roach are making a comeback and double figure bags are on the cards. You will need to fish seed or larger baits to get through the Bleak that also seem to be thriving at present. As at Turvey this stretch is also only fishable to full club card holders (No day Tickets).

Please remember if parking in village to leave all drives and access to church clear.
