The first club match of the season was attended by 22 anglers. It was a cool windy day with showers making the conditions difficult to attract a steady run of run fish, this proving so at the final whistle with only 14 anglers weighing in.
1st – Rob Pottinger (peg 9) 46lb 6oz
2nd – Kevin Elliott (peg 8) 45lb 12oz
3rd – Paul Ramsden (peg 20) 45lb 2oz
Only ounces separated second place from first place and third place from second in a very close contest. Rob Pottinger shaved the day by 10oz from Kevin Elliott with carp to 5lb on pellet. Paul Ramsden also only 10oz behind Kevin in third place.
