The latest points club match was held today on the canal at Weedon steps.
There was a bright start to the day but the second half of the match was fished in the rain with a stiff breeze.
The first 10 pegs of the match mainly struggled for fish and bites and it was in the last 10 pegs where all the weights came, most of these pegs had boats opposite.
20 fished and the result was surprisingly good with Rob Pottinger taking top spot with 14 pounds 14 ounces 12 drams of Skimmers and Bream to 3 pounds 9 ounces.
2nd = were John Broughton and Les Goodridge with 11 pounds and 12 drams, John with Bream to 2 pounds and Roach, Les with Bream, Roach and a couple of Perch to 1 pound 8 ounces. 4 was Brian Beard with 10 pounds 12 ounces of Skimmers to pound and a half and Roach to 12 ounces.
Most of the fish caught was on bread punch
