Today’s club match, previously scheduled for the Nene at Ringstead, was fished on the canal at Stoke Bruerne long pound due to the adverse weather conditions.
The canal was very coloured but fished reasonably well with 6 weights over 7 pounds from the 22 anglers that fished.
First was Brian Beard with 9 pounds 7 ounces of Skimmers to 1 pound. Second was Rob Pottinger with 8 pounds 12 ounces of Skimmers and third with 8 pounds 9 ounces was Chris Howard – 3 Skimmers to a pound and 19 Roach to 8 ounces.
Sections were won by John Balhatchet with 8 pounds 4 ounces and Dave Mawby with 8 pounds 2 ounces of Roach and Perch
