The first points match of the season was held at Canons Ashby bottom lake and was fished by 20 anglers on what turned out to be quite a low weight match. 1st on the day with waggler caught Skimmers on maggot with a weight of 13 pounds was Paul Minney. 2nd Simon Cordingley 7 pounds 8 ounces 3rd Les Goodridge 6 pounds 8 ounces and 4th Matthew Webb with 5 pounds 12 ounces
