Great Ouse – Turvey Upstream
About
From the road bridge at Turvey the fishery consists of the right hand bank upstream to the weir pool then continues over the footbridge upstream to where a stile indicates the end of this section of the Ouse (see map for details). This is the point where our stretch of the river at Newton Blossomville meets this new section of river to become a joined up fishery.

In lay by on A428 north of Turvey bridge
Access
Pedestrian access is over a stile just before the bridge on the opposite side of the road to the lay by on the A428. Please follow the footpath to the left that leads along the side of the river to the weir pool. Following the footpath around the back of the weir pool you will come to a footbridge which brings you to the river above the sluice gates. The bank to the right takes you along to the stile at the end of this section of the river.
Currently access across the weir pool gates is closed due to maintenance work being carried out by the EA.
