The second of four club matches in in four weeks was held on the unpredictable Furzton Lake in central Milton Keynes. On a clam and warm day 22 anglers turned out and those that found the fish adopted long range feeder tactics with very few fish being caught on the pole or waggler lines. The vast majority of fish caught came in a two hour spell.
As per the previous week first on the day with 31lbs 15oz was Mark Tottingham with bream on the feeder. Geoff Ringer had bream and roach on the feeder for 14lb 15oz and second place and Matt Webb completed the frame also with bream on the feeder for 12lb 9oz.
Section winners on the day were Rob Pottinger with 10lb 14ozs and Simon Cordingley with 9lb 1oz.
