The fishery consists of right bank fishing from the start of the University land boundary (off New South Bridge Rd adjacent to Car Park 4) downstream to where the river meets the sluice gates at Nunn Mills Rd. There is also some left bank fishing (mainly concrete bank) opposite the sluice gates on the other side of Nunn Mills Rd to the point that faces University Bridge.
