The left bank of the River Nene from a point downstream of the Bedford Road Sluice-gate to Weston Mill. The right bank of the River Nene from a point downstream of the Bedford Road Sluice-gate to a point level with the nearest point of the barrage lake to the river.

Access from Bedford Road (A428) near the Whitewater Centre, or from Weston Mill.

A small car park is available off the Bedford road near the Holiday Inn Northampton.
