The fishery consists of both banks upstream and downstream of the island at Newton Blossomville. Refer to Figure 4.1 for details of boundaries of the fishery. The fishery used to include a pond south of the A428 in the field through which access to the left bank of the river is gained (See Access section below). Google Earth suggests that this pond has now been drained.
Chub, Dace, Perch, Pike, Roach.
Access by Footpath from Newton Blossomville village to middle section of fishery. Access across fields from the B565 Olney Road to left bank. Access from opposite lay-by on A428 (near Turvey Bridge) to downstream end of fishery.
Normal club rules apply.
Very limited parking in Newton Blossomville, parking may be possible near sewage works between Newton and Turvey.
